This Saturday, Feb 24 will feature the cd release of Pretend to Believe by my longtime collaborator and friend, Val Esway. She’ll be backed up by the all star band that recorded it, featuring the awesome firepower of 4 ripping guitar players: Myles Boisen, Joe Rut, Berge Thomasian and Yours Truly.
Holding it all down will be the the amazingness that is John Hanes on drums and Wil Hendricks on bass. Wil and I share a common love of NRBQ and especially drummer Tommy Ardolino. Last but not least, I do believe that J.Kleinberg will play some fiddle – and play it he can.
So if you are in San Francisco, forget the flowers in your hair – come to the Hotel Utah!
