A new year, an inspiring leader and – hold on to your hat – values from an older era, like quality, civic duty and living within your means might just be the new greed.
As for music – acoustic compositions, both instrumental and vocal, are slowly being recorded, the NightSoil HD film project with Thad Povey is just about finished up (to be screened in 2009) and there will hopefully be an improv/noise CD or two out the door this year.
There will not be much in the way of public performance in the next few months, but a few scattered interesting things are booked (check the gigs page) and the idea of a late spring/early summer tour is rolling around on the floor like an old dog seeking attention…we’ll see. There is even a rumor or two of a Ramona the Pest reunion show…stay tuned.
