The Bodice Rippers played a last minute gig at Amnesia in SF this past Sunday nite. In a Spinal Tap sorta way, we opened for a puppet show. Not just any puppet show though. This was the Apocalypse Puppet Theater , brainchild of the very talented Freddie Price.
The house was packed, rapturous faces abounded and the BRs delivered the goods with a smokin’ set. CD Cummings received some excellent yet curious feedback:
Three women said they came while watching us and the door person heard a dog pronounce the word “Orpheus.”
