The first song the Ipod spits out in shuffle play when commencing the days drive is crucial. It was a beautiful, cold (42 degrees) and clear morning as I climbed into the Wasatch mountains east of Salt Lake on my way to my final destination - Laramie, Wyoming.
On came the dementedly brilliant pop of The Gazillions Morons and Americans (a recording made at my very own studio and proof that it was not build it in vain). Perfect music to leave Utah behind with and discover the idiosyncracies of roadside Wyoming.
